Why A Joint Christian Statement?

The purpose is twofold:

• To express solidarity with the Jewish people and to make it known that they do not stand alone. If/when the statement has gained a significant number of signatures we will seek to publish it via a prominent international outlet. It will also be distributed to leaders of the Jewish community.

• To encourage Christians to think clearly about the pertinent issues, to raise their voices against Jew hatred and to provide a means of expression of their support for the Jewish people.
